Buddleja True Blue claims to have the truest blue flowers of any Buddleja. The flowers are borne above silver grey foliage on strong stems giving the plant an upright habit. The plant is supposed to have a low seed set.
Over the past 20 years well over 150 new hybrids have come to the market, many raised in the USA.
More of these introductions will be planted in the collection this year. Currently this plant is available for sale in the plant centre but has not been assessed for reliability, hardness, habit and flowering.
