History
A hybrid created by Dennis Werner at the North Carolina Agricultural Research Service, part of the North Carolina State University, USA. Dr Werner was looking to create a genuinely dwarf Buddleja that did not self seed.
B. Lo and Behold® ‘Purple Haze’ was created by crossing B. davidii, B. davidii var. nanhoensis ‘Nanho Purple’, B. globosa and B. lindleyana.
