Longstock Silver

B. ‘Longstock Silveris a very hardy deciduous small to medium shrub. The leaves are soft felted like B. crispa and the flowers are a fragrant lilac with a pale eye, also like B. crispa in cylindrical panicles from mid-summer until October.

A sterile hybrid that does not set seed.

 History

B. alternifolia ‘Argentea’  x B. crispa made in 2000.  A Longstock introduction.
