Buddleja asiatica
Flowering in the glasshouse at Longstock Park Nursery 4th February 2019
A tender deciduous shrub native to a vast area of the East Indies, including India, Nepal, Bangladesh, China, Taiwan, Burma, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, New Guinea, and the Philippines, growing in open woodland at elevations < 2,800 m either as understorey scrub, or as a small tree.[1
but for most of Europe it requires frost protection. As a early flowering Buddleja it must be one of the best in a glass house or conservatory with long highly scented white flowers truly awesome
it is certainly worth a visit to Longstock Nursery
